USATF Masters Now at Eastern Washington University, Date Conflicts with Washington State Senior Games

Looks like the logo needs to change.  The 2018 USATF Masters Nationals is now scheduled for Eastern Washington University, in Cheney and set for the last weekend in July.  The good news is that Cheney is but a short 20 minute drive from Spokane.  The bad news is that the date conflicts with the Washington State Senior Games set for Tumwater, Washington the same…

Random Lane Draws in the Olympics?

Okay, it's been quite a while since my high school and college mathematics days, but what are the odds of 'random' lane draws that keep pushing the U.S. sprinters and hurdlers into lane nine in the Olympics.....I see a conspiracy in penalizing the U.S. team. Despite these 'random' lane assignments, the U.S. team members have been remarkable.
