BPS Masters Athletes Fare Well
Jay Ruuska (M55-59, Gig Harbor), finished with a bronze in the USATF Masters National Combined Events meet at Mt. Sac, CA with a total score of 4828, a Masters All-American mark.
Scott Copeland, Olympia, competing in the M65-69 age bracket finished second in the long jump with a 3.81m effort and third in the javelin with a 29.59m best toss at the Oregon State Senior Games held in Corvallis, OR in extreme heat and wind conditions.
